Right to Information Act, 2005 provides citizens secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority. Following authorities are established at Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune in compliance with Right to Information Act, 2005-

• Right to Information Act, 2005 has to facilitate an easy access to the citizens of India to know specific public information about.
• This Act is directing to comply and maintain the necessary public information having with institution.
• It coordinates institution, students, staff, stakeholders or Indian citizens for getting specific public information from institution.
• To deal with the government policies and practices implemented in the institution for public interest.
• To addressing the inquiry applications within the stipulated time period.
