Dr.Vishwanath Patil

Acting Principal

He is graduated in Faculty of Law from Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad in the year 1972, (Second Class). Post Graduated in Faculty of Law from University of Pune, in the year 1974 (Second Class), having specialization in Criminal and Commercial Law Group. Awarded Ph. D. in the Faculty of Law in the year July – 2002, from Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad. His topic for Ph.D. Thesis was “CONSUMER PROTECTION AND THE LAW A STUDY OF RECENT JUDICIAL TRENDS IN INDIA”. He served as a lecturer in Law College, Nanded from 1975 to February,2002. During his tenure as a lecturer he taught many subjects for LL.B. Degree Course, LL.M. P.G. Course, and D. L. Laws Course. He served many times In-Charge - Principal at Law College Nanded. He was given a seat as a Non - Judicial Member of District Consumer Commission at Nanded. He served for the Commission for the term of five years i.e. December 1974 to December 1999. He acted as a President of D. C. Commission, Nanded many times in absence of the President D.C. Commission, Nanded. He was offered Principalship of Dayanand College of Law, Latur managed by Dyanand Education Society’s Latur on February, 2003.He served as a Principal at Sinhagad Law College, Pune from April,2009 to April, 2011.After successful completion of his tenure as a Principal, Sinhagad LawCollege, Pune he was appointed as a Principal at Marathwada MitraMandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune from December, 2011to May, 2012.Later on he was appointed as a Principal and HOD of TMY’s LokmanyaTilak Law College, Pune from February - 2014 to July – 2018.At present he is appointed as a Principal of Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune – 02. (From 1 st September, 2018 to still today)


Dr. Vishwanath Patil being a Principal of above mentioned different Law Colleges in Maharashtra, he organized different International, National and State Level Conferences, Seminars, Moot Court Competitions, Workshops, FDPs, NSS Camps, Student Development Activities etc. It is a proud to mention here that Dr. Vishwanath Patil has prepared many Judicial Officers like Supreme Court Judges, High Court Judges, District Judges, Judicial Officers, Public Prosecutors, Special Public Prosecutors and IPS officers, etc. He got recognition as a Research Guide to guide Ph. D. students in the faculty of Law by Swami Ramanand Treetha Marathwada University, Nanded and Shri J.J.T. University, Rajasthan. He has been honored by the different Judges of High Courts for his long experience in the teaching field of law as well as for his efficient administration as a Principal of different Law Colleges in Maharashtra. He has been honored by the Mahatma Phule Itihaas Academy as an “Excellent Teacher Award” for his Excellency in academic journey by the auspicious hands of Dr. Tanaji Sawant (Public Health Minister, Maharashtra State) and by the other dignitaries. He is a recipient of different awards for his academic contribution in the field of law by the Different NGOs. He has authored many Law Books especially Reference Books for the students of law. He is a Vice-President of M.B.G.P Mandal (Running One High School) at Nanded. He is also a Life Member of Shridi Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi, Taluka Kopargaon, Dist. Ahmednagar. He has been invited as a Chief Guest, Resource Person, Guest Lecturer organized by different Law Colleges in Maharashtra.

Mrs. Siddhakala U. Bhawsar

Mrs. Siddhakala U. Bhawsar, an Asst. Prof., has contributed her knowledge in Socio- Legal sphere since 2009. In the year of 2002, she stood first in the Subject of Book Keeping & Accountancy in College & Center in 12th class. She has completed her Bachelor in Law Degree of 5 years Law Course from N.B.T. Law College, Nashik which is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. In 2009 she completed her LL.M. from Dept. of Law, S.P.P.U. Pune with First Class. She qualified SET and is pursuing Ph.D. from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. At present she is approved Asst. Professor of Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College Pune-02.


She is working in Institution since 2014. She has taught various Law subjects in this College. Since last few years she has rendered various responsibilities like N.S.S. Officer, College Examination Officer with devotion and at present she is in- charge of Coordinator of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). She has taught for various subjects for the courses Like LL.M., M.B.A., M.C.A, LL.B., B.B.A. She has completed Madhyama Purna (5 examinations) in classical Singing & looking ahead for Alankar (Master in Classical Singing).

Dr. Anjali Manish Gavali

Dr. Anjali Manish Gavali is an Assistant Professor of Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's law college, Pune-02. She has completed her Ph.D. on the subject of Labor Law. She has participated in various Conferences and Seminars organized by the SPPU. She has participated in various Legal Aid Programs. She has participated in various Faculty Development Programs organized by different universities. She has experience of teaching various law subjects such as Land Laws, Labor Laws, Jurisprudence, etc. She also published articles in various National and International Journals.

Mr. Anand Bokefode

Assistant Professor

Mr. Anand Bokefode is an Assistant Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune -02 since 2018. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Hutatma Rajguru Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Law College, Rajgurunagar, Khed, Dist-Pune. He has completed his LL.B. from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 2008 and LL.M. from Solapur University, Solapur in 2010. He qualified SET Exam in 2017. He is teaching different subjects for LL.B. Three Years and Five Years Courses.

Dr. Soumya S. Krishnan

Dr. Soumya S. Krishnan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune-02. She has been awarded Ph. D. in the year 2023 by Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has published different papers in various Journals and presented papers in various Seminars. At present, she is a Moot Court In-Charge. She is teaching Practical Papers and Theoretical Papers on different law subjects at SSMS’s Law College-02.

Miss. Meenakshi Mansaram Jadhav

Assistant Professor

Miss. Meenakshi Mansaram Jadhav, is an Asst. Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune-02. She has completed her B.S.L., LL.B. from Navjeevan Law College, CIDCO, Nashik and LL.M.from Department of Law, SPPU, Pune in 2014 with specialization in International Law. She is having 10 years of teaching experience at Navjeevan Law College, CIDCO, Nashik.


She is qualified for SET and pursuing Ph.D. from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. She completed a short term course in Sustainable Development.


She has participated in more than 50 State, National, International Level Seminars, Conferences, Webinars, Virtual Seminars and Conferences, FDPs. She has also published Articles, Research Papers in various State, National and International Level Seminars, Conferences, Webinars, Virtual Seminars and Conferences. She has Published various Chapters in edited Books and Journals.

Miss. Kishori Hari Ramteke

Miss. Ramteke Kishori Hari is an Asst. Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune-02. She has completed her Bachelor Degree in Law from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, as a Gold Medalist. She has completed her Master’s Degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She qualified both SET and NET Exams. She has presented and published research papers on various subjects. She also successfully completed number of Faculty Development Programs, and attended various International, National, State and Regional Level Conferences and workshops. She delivered lectures as a Guest Faculty. She is a member of Equal Opportunity Cell and Library Committee in SSMS’s Law College, Pune-02.

Mr. Vikram P.Borate

Mr. Vikram P.Borate is an Assistant Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune -02. He holds B.A. and M.A. Degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He is SET Qualified. He has Six years of academic experience in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune-02. He worked as the Student Development Officer. He is a Member of other Administrative Committees. His guidance is very valuable for our students who are preparing for competitive exams.

Mr. Sachin Mhasavade

Mr. Sachin Mhasavade is an Asst. Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune-02. He has completed M.A. in Political Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He is qualified both SET and NET Exams. He has eight years of teaching experience. In addition to this at present, he is working as the Chief Examination Officer at SSMS’s Law College, Pune-02.

Mr. Vishvanath Vyavahare

Mr. Vishvanath Vyavahare is an Asst. Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, Pune-02. He holds his B.A. Degree in English from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He also holds M.A. degree in English from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He is SET Qualified. He has seven years of academic experience. He has presented papers at various National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has attended various FDPs, Orientation Programs and Refresher Courses. He worked as the coordinator of SOL, SPPU. He is working as the Program Officer of NSS Unit. His area of interest is Language and Literature, Communication Skills and Soft Skills.

Mr. Sudarshan Sureshrao Jondhale

Assistant Professor

Mr.Jondhale Sudarshan Sureshrao is an Assistant Professor in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune - 02. Before joining SSMS's Law College, Pune, he served as an Assistant Professor in N.C. Law College, Nanded, Shri Shivaji Law College Kandhar and worked as a visiting faculty for Yashwantrao Chavan Open University, Nashik.


He completed M.A., M. Phil., SET in Sociology, M.A. in English and is pursuing his Ph.D. in Sociology. He has 10 years of experience in teaching Sociology. His specialization is in Sociological Theories, Research Methodology, Gendering Society, Sociology of Law and Jurisprudence, Science and Technology, Globalization and Sociology of Development. He is an author of a book chapter, Gender and Policing, for M.A., Sociology, Distance Education Center of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He published many research papers in National and International Journals and participated in various Regional, State, National and International Conferences. At present, he is a member of Equal Opportunity Cell and Library Committee at SSMS’s Law College, Pune-02.

Mrs. Deepali R. Jadhav

Librarian

Mrs. Deepali R. Jadhav is a Librarian in Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Law College, Pune-02. She is Post Graduate in Library Science, M. Phil., PGDLIMAN, SET (LIS). She is pursuing her Ph.D.in LIS. Before joining Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s Law College, She worked as a Librarian at St. Mathews Academy and Junior College (ICSE Board). She has 12 years of experience as a Librarian. She has on her credit, Publication of Research Paper in Peer Reviewed Journal, International Articles, Workshops and Conferences. She is a member of various Administrative Committees at SSMS’s Law College, Pune-02.
